Small & Scrappy Doll Quilt Club

Join the Small & Scrappy Doll Quilt Club by making simple little quilts using reproduction or your choice of fabrics. This is a 6-month club based on the quilts in Kathleen Tracy's book, Small & Scrappy, Pint-Size Quilts Using Reproduction Fabrics. Beginners as well as more experienced quilters will delight in these small, traditional patterns that have been favorites for generations. First month's project: Crows Foot (size 15 1/2" x 15 1/2") Book is required for club. (Sleepy Valley will have the book for you to purchase)

Beginner's Sampler

This class is for the person who wants to learn quilt-making and for the quilter who wants help improving skills. The techniques are all here, including rotary cutting, hand piecing, appliqué, English paper piecing, foundation piecing, mastering that elusive 1/4" inch seam, machine piecing, working with templates, how to decode a pattern, dealing with sashes and borders, sandwiching the layers - and, the best part, you'll have a beautiful 12-block quilt to prove what you've learned, and to enjoy for the rest of your life!
